5 Steps
1. Before you get out of bed in the morning, think of 3 things you are thankful for.
Psalm 5:3 (AMPC) In the morning You hear my voice, O Lord; in the morning I prepare [a prayer, a sacrifice] for You and watch and wait [for You to speak to my heart].
2. Celebrate the “small” day-to-day things you usually would not think to celebrate.
Proverbs 17:22 (AMPC) A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.
3. Give yourself the grace to process all the stuff.
Psalm 84:11 (AMPC) For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows [present] grace and favor and [future] glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.
